Welcome!! Thanks for being here!
It's May and I'm in Canada, my birthplace and home for my first 30 years! I'm here until July 3, 2012, visiting family, catching up with friends, attending the Hay House I CAN DO IT conference, writing, learning, growing and travelling as a solo again.
My sojourn started with 2 nights in Sydney, another place I once called home. It's a great city and I loved being there again.
I spent a week in Vancouver, a city that is dear to my heart (and once home for nearly 4 years). I had the best time wandering around, practicing yoga, talking to strangers, eating delicious food and just spending time with myself. When it was time to make tracks, I was sad to go.
But go I did to Victoria, where my sister and niece live. I also lived in the city for the newly wed and nearly dead for 7 months in 1997 before moving to Vancouver. It was nice to catch up with my family there. The weather was gorgoeus and we spent lots of time in the sun. My 5 days there were filled with sugary food, drinking, visting Salt Spring Island, yoga, spa time, laughter and spotting whales and wildlife with Prince of Whales tours!!!
Now, I've moved east to the interior of British Columbia where I am visting a friend in Revelstoke. It's great to be back in the mountains and a hike in the woods was a nice reminder to appreciate nature more. Later today, I'll be on the water in a kayak!!
Next stop: BANFF, Alberta.
